The beds were good, with good lights for reading in bed.
The location is excellent, in a safe neighborhood that has a lot to offer.
The manager was helpful.
It would be handy to have towel rails in the bathroom, as well as a kettle (or at least mugs to reheat the water in the MW). The microwave didn't work very well.
I also missed having breakfast and a space to read outside of the room, though it was clear on the website that these weren't provided, so I don't hold it against the hotel, of course!

The location is pretty good, its about a 10 minute walk uphill to get to the street with all the best restaurants/cafes on. It's also a good spot if you're driving to the beach/Muir woods. It has parking most of the time. Looks nice and modern and is relatively quiet.
PARKING IS NOT GUARANTEED. The lot fills up at about 9pm. I've found that there is at least one tight/awkward spot that is usually left open at the back - if you're confident in your parking skills then you probably don't need to worry too much about it. I also think the value for money isn't necessarily there when some of the other motels are pretty similar but this one costs more.
