Location and the car park
Strange noises , possibly from someone else's AC or pipework. It was enough to wake us. It would have been useful to have been able to connect my laptop to the TV, but this wasn't possible as the TV was in hotel mode.

The room was clean and spacious. Location was great, we were able to walk to North Beach, China Town, Fort Mason, Pier 39 and down Lombard Street with the best views!
I didn’t like my room location. It was right next to Lombard street so we heard all the cars, trucks, motorcycles etc. I’m not sure if that’s where they put booking.com customers?

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city either on foot or by apps. It's also with very clean, reasonably sized, newly decorated rooms. Another big plus is that it's easily accessible, and the free car parking is a rare and very welcome perk, especially in this area. There were comments about the noise from the road but it wasn't an issue for us.
There’s no view at all from the room, which might be disappointing if you’re expecting a scenic stay. Also, the sink is oddly placed inside the room rather than in the bathroom, which felt a bit inconvenient.
