Very Good
The location of the hotel was really good. Close proximity to Fisherman's Wharf and eating places. Loved the activities held at the hotel. The discounts offered at various restaurants for staying at MVC was like a bonus. Specially loved the free laundry. The room was clean, minimalist and well maintained.
The room was facing the road so I could not roll up the blinds. It was very noisy, could hear everything happening in the adjacent rooms, could hear people walking in the corridors or moving in the rooms above.

Location was good - a couple of blocks away from Fisherman Wharf (quieter part).
Rooms were adequate (not amazing). Good value for money.
We did have to walk a lot to find good restaurants.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is very close to the wharf district and was really convenient to everything that we needed/wanted to do. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would happily stay there again.
The breakfast was just some simple baked goods and coffee. There is scope for tat to be better but, hey, it worked for us. beyond that there was nothing to dislike. We had a room on the same level as the courtyard which probably wasn't ideal.

Wonderful
Everything was fantastic, super clean, comfy beds and an updated clean and renovated bathroom. I loved the downstairs lobby facilities for extra entertainment and space.
The only thing I disliked was on trash collection days that it could be quite loud and distrusted our sleep, but the blackout blinds allowed us to sleep in a little longer to make up on the broken sleep

• Plenty of outlets in the room (no need for a power strip)
• Good selection of amenities including cleansers, moisturizers, and a quality hair dryer
• Complimentary breakfast was a highlight, especially the coconut rolls from Good Mong Kok Bakery in Chinatown
• TV setup blocked me from connecting my Apple TV
• Lack of clarity around incidental fee waiver (different answers on timing, had to call to finalize)

The room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Very nice to have pastries, muffins and tea and coffee available in the morning. The cold water drink stations in reception was also a nice touch. Location of the hotel is very convenient to the restaurants and ferries.
The decor needs refreshing. The corridors paint colour and painted design looks dated and a bit rough. The rooms need to be lightened up and the stand alone mirror replaced with a new one. The one in our room was very aged. The air con unit is too old and loud so was best left off which meant the room sone nights got hot. Another place is needed for the second towel to be hung up. There was only one hook for 2 people.
