Pretty clean, appreciated the robe, the comfortable bed and the sofa in the room. Also very quiet. In general not bad but it's not worth paying extra compared to cheaper options in the area.
Definetely overpriced for the service offered. Everything looked a bit old and decadent (like much of the area), in fact it was mostly empty for the time I was there. The rooftop was just a terrace (impossible to find if you don't ask reception), with a disappointing view and no service, neither for breakfast or a drink at night. Breakfast was especially disappointing, really overpriced for a bunch of ingredients (some of which even low quality) just thrown on a plate.

I really liked the location of the hotel — it was conveniently close to cable car and bus stations, which made getting around easy. The room was very clean, quiet, and perfectly sized for a two-night stay for two people. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and we slept very well. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious too. Overall, a peaceful and pleasant stay - I’d definitely consider staying here again!
It would have been nice to have a water station on our floor, and I would have preferred breakfast to be included in the price, but these are minor drawbacks.

The room was very clean and quiet, staff is very friendly, polite and professional, the bed was comfortable and the location is unbeatable! Would stay here again in my next trip to SF.
We noticed the hot water is a bit hard to regulate in the shower.

The room was nice and spacious. Had a nice quiet stay while there.
The hot water came quickly which is quite rare in hotels.
Purified water (shared dispenser) was also provided, which was a pleasant surprise (and also delicious).
The furniture/room/lobby were nicely refurbished, and I could only tell that the hotel has been around based on the elevator design.
The hotel was also very convenient (near Montgomery station, walkable to Powell/Union Square, Embarcadero), and right before the steep hills (Chinatown).

As a former resident of the city, it’s a great location. Hotel was very clean, the room very comfortable and quiet, good space for two guests. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
