Perfect location within in San Francisco with parking included. The rooms were quite big and recently renovated.
The isolation of the building wasn't the best, being cold at night and very warm during the day.

Location in the midst of the festive Polk street retail district with plenty of shops and restaurants as well as the safe covered free parking were the best features of this motel. The newly renovated aspects were a nice bed with good reading lights, bathroom (more towel bars or hooks needed) and combo desk-cubby set-up for microwave and small fridge as well as convenient stand of cubed shelves in the open closet.
The "fragrance" of cleaning products was overpowering as we entered room 210, the window shutters were already slightly damaged, there were scuffs and scrapes on some woodwork, sounds carried through thin walls, wasteful individual toiletries, a guide for TV channels would have been helpful. Would have liked an extra chair in the room for two because eating on the fresh clean bed is so unsavory. But the parking and fun central location at a good price outweighed the lack of extra amenities. It served our purposes for that visit to SF.

good size room, great large bed, very comfortable, room gets cleaned each day, friendly staff.
shower water was warm but not hot, pressure was poor. No towel rail in the bathroom.

Location wise it was perfect for us, Nob Hill was fantastic & we felt safe. We walked pretty much everywhere, got a Waymo twice just for the experience! We didn’t hire a car straight off as we were unsure of the parking but actually would have been fine but we didn’t need a car whilst in San Francisco. The room was clean, modern & comfy, all we needed for a 2 night stay, great value for money. We’ll definitely be back!

It was located in a safe neighborhood with decent free parking. It had a working elevator and working ice and coke machine.
The beds were comically small for being listed as queens but they were very comfortable.
The light coming in thru the blinds was crazy bright and relentless. The walls are thin so when the maid was vacuuming in other rooms it sounded insanely loud.
I had requested thru booking some extra pillows for my back as I have had two major back surgeries. The hotel emailed me and said they would be happy to accommodate but once at the hotel they balked on it even after telling me to my face they’d have the maids bring some up to the room. After 2 times asking and being let down I gave up.
If they would have just said no I could have brought some but instead they gave me the run around 3 times and never produced any pillows. Which was tough cause the ones they do have on the beds are smalllllll and few.

We never spoke with any staff members. Except for cleaning staff, no one was ever at the front desk.
It would have been nice to have a front desk that was manned. We could have asked about nearby restaurants, etc.
