Loved the warm quaintness of the Inn and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The location could not be more perfect for walking to nearby restaurants and shopping. The hills certainly give you a work out, but well worth it. The parking (for a nightly fee) was so convenient. It was a most enjoyable stay.
Not what I did not like, more that of a couple of things which I felt could be useful additions. If you are at all sensitive to noise when sleeping, outside traffic noise did disturb my sleep on a couple of occasions. A fan to douse the noise helped a little.
A couple of small things such as a trash bin (there is a small one in the bathroom, but not big enough for cups and larger items); as well as a box of tissues and a couple of water glasses.

Comfy beds, easy check in, spacious, fireplace - I was upgraded to a bigger room.
Never saw anyone at front desk - sink was not draining, needed late check out / to leave my bags but no one replied to messages. All windows faced a building, no natural light. No room cleaning / turn down service.

Beautiful location. Vintage decor. Cool old building. Very old SanFran vibe. Staff was exceptional. Great people. Great value for the money.
Of course, the decor is a little old, which was expected. But the room was a bit musty.
