Needs some TLC to maintain its standard, as some issues with decor & repair. And its close proximity to Tenderloin can be an issue.

Location was decent, walkable to Union Square, Oracle Park, Fisherman's Wharf. Room was nice and it was clean and housekeeping was in everyday to make beds etc. Hotel has a fun eclectic vibe. Price was pretty good.
Wifi was terrible, intermittent at best. The toilet in the room ran constantly. Was quite loud so had to try to "jiggle the handle" constantly to stop the running and as well, there was a very musty smell in the bathroom. I suspect mould issues with the shower. Gentleman working the front desk on Saturday, Sunday was not great. Did not acknowledge anyone as they entered or left the hotel, did not look up from his phone. The restaurant in the hotel advertised being open daily, I confirmed with previously mentioned front desk attendant that the restaurant would be open on Sunday evening. He advised it absolutely would be. When we went to go for dinner, the restaurant was closed and when I asked him about it, he could have cared less.

Loved the free coffee machine in the lobby and the free breakfast which was generous. Good shower pressure, comfy beds. Easy to leave bags all day with staff.
Not the most convenient location in my opinion. Feels central but actually takes ages to get anywhere. Not many restaurants around.

Not much.
Lift is in terrible condition. WiFi didn’t work. Pulled out the bedside locker to get to the sockets and it was filthy. Shower was poor.

I had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable—I fell asleep almost instantly. The shower was excellent, with good water pressure and temperature. A light breakfast was provided, including cereals, breads, yoghurt, and fruit, which was a nice touch. The building is older, so I could hear some noise from neighboring rooms, but it wasn’t disruptive. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
One thing to be aware of: the elevator can be a bit tricky to manage if you're carrying bags or have your hands full. The safety gate inside is quite heavy and slides closed quickly, so it's worth taking extra care—especially if you're traveling with children, to avoid little fingers getting caught.
