We liked the retro vibe honestly. The family suite held our family of 6 comfortably. We enjoyed walking in either direction and finding a little corner store for our drinks and snacks. The room had a small fridge, microwave and stove even. The FREE parking is fantastic. We felt safe and secure leaving our rental. Tye whole area felt secure walking in the evenings.
So if you arrive early, there’s no luggage storage. The breakfast was really simple, just cereals and toast. The bathroom definitely needs to be updated. But again for the location, the free parking, and the space, I wouldn’t complain. We would stay again!

The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. We especially appreciated the free parking in a city where hotel parking can go for 60 bucks a night! The location was also great....many restaurants, shops and activities were walkable. Loved the mid century modern design of the hotel...very retro.
The housekeepers did bring us fresh towels on request, but they only cleaned the room once during our stay. The breakfast was OK...Some protien would've been nice.

Was disappointed with the greeting from staff on check in and then to get told that the lift wasn't working and hadn't been for a lo g time was the last straw also the breakfast set up was just a joke will not be recommended this place to anyone

Elevator didn't work. Handicapped room needed a bureau, or credenza. No place to put stuff if you were staying for x few days

Great location with easy access to local areas such as Union St, the Marina, and Presidio. Plenty of local transport options, and away from the busy main roads so fairly quiet. Free breakfast was included (basics such as pastries, cereal, toast). It was fairly clean and comfortable overall and a good price point.
The bathroom, although mostly clean, was very tired/dated. The taps sort of leaked a bit, and the shower could have done with grouting. There was an exposed light bulb in the shower which doesn't feel quite right!

It was quiet but that’s about it.
The hotel didn’t have the type of room we booked (king), only had one room left (queen). We took it as we did t have anywhere else to stay. They did discount the room $20. The room was on the second floor and the elevator was out of service. The room was small and the bed was very hard. The privacy curtains were shredded and when I went to close the blackout curtains they were filthy!

BEDBUGS! I was bitten repeatedly. When informing staff, they did not care at all and took no steps to rectify the situation. This place needs to be investigated by health authorities. I‘ve travelled across the world, never experienced behavior like this. STAY AWAY!

Location! Plenty of restaurants , attractions and shops all in walking distance. FREE PARKING!!! Cute retro charm. Nice staff. Very reasonable price in a very expensive city.
Housekeeping wasn't consistent...had to ask for fresh towels a couple times. Breakfast was OK, but some yogurt or other protein would've been nice.
