Room was surprisingly spacious. Location was excellent. Breakfast was modest continental, but fine.
Desk furniture and carpet were a bit worn, but everything was clean.

3 nights family vacation. Cheapest accommodation on booking.com. free parking. Very close to 2 major bus routes. We could get from motel to baseball in 30 minutes. Fisherman's wharf is walkable in 30.. We walked to the bridge in a couple of hours. Presido park and Lucas arts is about 20 minutes walk.
Motel is quite dated. Bathroom and room are a few decades old. All still functional but the room is dark with wood panel ceiling. The lift was broke on arrival and still broke on departure. "Breakfast" is like feeding time at the zoo. The idea is to load up with cereal and toast from a tiny kitchen type room on the bottom floor and take back to your room. However the thick twats staying in the motel stand eating toast in front of the coffee machine and block the area. there's 2 toasters that seem to run off solar power due to the time it tastes for them to operate. I saw a woman turn up with a baby on a car seat and she couldn't carry her baby and get the food so I'm not sure what she would do. The breakfast facility is ok to be fair, it's just the other people that get in the way.
On our first day we left the room at about 0830 and returned at 1800. The old towels had bed taken but the beds hadn't been made or new towels delivered. After a few minutes an apologetic maid delivered towels.
I would stay here again. As it was clean and easily accessible and I didn't come to San Fran for the accommodation.
don't expect luxury and the breakfast isn't sausages and bacon.
If you do come, up the hill 1 block is a corner shop for beers. Up 2 blocks and across the road is a beautiful Chinese restaurant which I collected for takeout.

Covered parking space, nice staff who met our requirements.

Good location, decent breakfast, good amenities like the tv and microwave, fridge. Housekeeping was nice.
The front desk area had a weird smell, not sure if it was food related or something else but it was off putting. The elevator did not work, so it was annoying to carry luggage up the stairs. The bedroom itself is good but I really recommend getting the carpets cleaned or adding some type of air freshener! That will really help make the rooms feel and smell clean. Also, not sure what the housekeepers use to clean but I recommend that if they’re using bleach, to follow up with a cleaning spray that smells good. We were told our room had just been cleaned but it smelled musty so for a
Clean freak like me, it didn’t seem clean at all.. I want to smell the cleanliness.

Everything was fine, except the breakfast . I mean why bother!?!
Remove the breakfast and lower the price a bit instead. No one deserves such an uninteresting breakfast!

The price was very good considering the motel is located in the center of San Francisco. They offer free parking and light breakfast.
Very thin and old towels, very small pillows and some weird kinda misty smell in the room.
