Rooms were kind of noisy at times. Anyone would come and go at anytime which disturbs your sleep.

Great location
After one night stay in an empty dorm (save for one other dude arriving after me) while working on my graduate thesis, "Jasmin" (likely an alias) at the front desk goofed around with her story going from saying there is a whole group to occupy the dorm that evening, and said she might be able to get another. Then changed her mind and said there's nothing. Just lies. More United States tax style control of what should be volunteer hostel situations.
If you want to stay and not get discriminated against, you'll be better off to book with booking.com instead of trying to save money and have a budding-wind-admin deny you based on fantasy-land concepts in their simple little circular minds.

Not long to get anywhere and clean. Lots to be involved in hosted by the place and I highly recommend the private room. I can’t speak for the shared experience.
You can only eat in the shared space which is understandable.

I love the location. Staff was very helpful. I arrived late at night and they parking was full. They directed me to where I can park overnight for free and suggested to check again in the morning when people check out. I was able to get a parking spot the next day.
It used to be that you can store your luggage for free, now you have to pay.

Location was good. I could see the Golden Gate Bridge from my room balcony. The balcony and personal bathroom for the room was nice.
I wish guest had access to take the stairs up. Not everyone likes elevators. The staff I interacted with were rude or aloof and felt untrained.

I stayed at Samesun San Francisco, and I can honestly say it is one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. This place is super clean ?
The staff are extremely nice and professional. They solve any problems within minutes and truly care about their guests. They do their best to make sure everyone feels comfortable and satisfied.
I would like to give a special thank you to Meiya—she is an outstanding manager. Other great staff members include Tito, Trevor, and JJ.
I highly recommend Samesun San Francisco and would definitely stay here again.
