I like everything, front desk guy, room, bed, pillows, stuff but the rooftop bar is a must!
That we have to wait in line to get into the rooftop bar even though we were guest at the hotel The lady put us in a sude she even didnt wrote our names down Thankfully a guy came and he let us in without a problem

Wonderful
The Starlite Lounge was wonderful. Also, we had what I think was a standard king room which was decorated very nicely and spacious. Our room was on a corner with the cable car going by but the noise level was not a big deal.
Valet parking was super expensive ($67 plus tax), but this is probably normal for the area.

Looks great with classy style. It's clean and well kept. Great location.
The bathroom is a bit small and water goes everywhere when you use the shower.

Beautiful and historic - very regal and majestic features. Bar was fantastic - bartender Sasha and concierge Leif were exceptional. Bathroom was nicely renovated - bed very comfortable.
Room still needs more renovations carpet worn and size of room was extremely small. The lobby could use some sprucing up/upgrade that would still maintain the integrity of the historic architecture.

Lovely property. It has a signature scent - just in case a person is sensitive to those things.
The staff was very nice!
The scent was a bit much for me- I am sensitive to strong perfume smells. Older hotel so it was a bit dated.

Disappointing
Architecture is elegant. Location. Food in lounge excellent. Very helpful and kind senior staff member Lief helped resolve issues. Rest of staff at front desk were clueless.
I had trouble from the beginning..only one person at front desk..took 15 minutes. At times there is no one at front desk. Level of service does not match price. Extremely rude and unhelpfumanager I am elderly and have mobility issues.

Has a lot of character. Very nice decor specially in the rooms. They photograph very well. Staff is very nice and pleasant. My room was very spacious and bed was extremely comfortable. Loved the black out shades!
Weird smells sometimes when entering elevator and even the room the very first time. Like an old smell or something. Bathroom was small and somewhat dated. The way the tub has a half glass and a hole in the middle of the glass wall is weird. Maybe its from the 70s or something. Definitely looks like a glory hole and all it does is let water out down to the floor and create a puddle while showering which I had to clean up. Also, shower had weird random hairs from previous guests I guess even after they did room service. The new towels had hair intertwined the cotton loops.
