Location. The Post Room. Very accommodating!! And nicer than the Starlight.
My hair dryer didn’t work and the coffee pot didn’t work . And that donut at the Starlight~~ absolutely horrid. Get it off the menu. And I wanted to watch the sunset and Macys Christmas, ect. I was told I had a table so I could see both. When I got there at my reserved time the sun had gone down, and I couldn’t see Macys or other.. no view at all. Very disappointing!!

Affordable and centrally located, and has a sense of history about it. Bathrooms were in good shape.
Like many older hotels, the rooms are on the small side and it shows its age a bit. Valet service is quite expensive.

Disappointing
Location was good, aesthetically pleasing, staff was polite and helpful when needed or reachable.
Our first night our neighbors were extremely loud, walls are very thin, you can hear everything from hallways to bedrooms. I called guest services multiple times with no answer to report the noise/music blasting at around 10pm. Was frustrating that no one picked up and eventually had to go downstairs to the lobby in my pajamas to report to it and complain about no one answering phones. They sent security which worked thankfully but I think the bar on the top floor brings too much of a party crowd to this hotel which is not what I was looking for on this trip with my mom. The room was okay, not as big as I thought it would be as a deluxe room advertised that I paid more for and it was a bit dark at the entrance between the bathroom and beds. No water filled for the coffee you gave to get it yourself. Some “clean” towels had makeup stains on them. On checkout day the emergency alarm went off and we were told to take the stairs, my poor 70 year old mother with her bad knee and back had carefully escape down the stairs with me in a hurry and it ended up being a false alarm. I wish I would have booked the places I had stayed in before, this was overrated for the price I paid. Was not impressed.
