Central location, all the parking spots were taken when I arrived but the staff was able to arrange a space for me to park a large SUV, rooms felt newly renovated. The value part is tricky, because this was one of the least expensive places with OK reviews, and yet it was still pretty expensive. That has more to do with the value of SF rather than this facility though.
I arrived at 3:45. Despite the fact that check-in was as 3:00, the room was not ready. The front desk staff was nice, but in the end the issue was not something that he could fix because the room was simply not ready. I had to wait for 25 minutes in the office. Also, if there is a kid playing upstairs, it will sound as if there is construction going on (I am not exaggerating) so bring ear plugs. It was clean and well maintained but due to aforementioned factors, it was not a peaceful stay for me.

Restaurants, grocery stores, parks and the waterfront were walkable! A smidge tight but good parking.
The room was always warm and musty humid when we returned at the end of the day. When we turned on the AC the air smelt moldy. A bit of mold on the shower ceiling as well.

The towels weren't clean! I saw some hair on the towels! The Wi-Fi often reconnects. The parking is sometimes full! Every morning there is a loud noise from the trucks going in and out or construction sometimes in the hotel!

Within walking distance of the pier area.
The parking is extremely bad. We got in early and parked. Walked from that point on as you could tell there was not going to be nearly enough parking. We woke up early to continue our journey only to find that we were parked in. The parking is an out of control nightmare.

pillows and blankets were not too comfortable. Felt very flat. For a quick 1 night stay it was ok. Super loud early in the morning because we heard abour 6 firetrucks every 5-10 minutes and then couldn't sleep anymore. If youre staying longer and value quality sleep I would choose a different place that is much quieter.
