It is a nice little inn, but I was not happy with a number of aspects: 1) my room has no AC, and it was a warm and humid evening in SF, so I slept poorly. 2) the breakfast starts at 8 am, but I had to catch an Uber at 7:30 for the airport. 3) restaurants around the hotel, other than the steakhouse next door, all closed very early for a Sat night.

Great location. Very close to the Trolly and shopping. Nice, clean hotel.
No air conditioning in room, but a great fan that kept the room cool. It rarely gets hot in this city.

The location was excellent. I also appreciated the effort made to offset the lack of views — the addition of plants and decorative fountains on the brick walls was a thoughtful touch.

Great location but incredibly quiet. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and clean. Staff welcoming and friendly. The small buffet breakfast good and sufficient to start your day. Good care was taken of our luggage after check out until we departed to the airport. Our room was lovely, with a separate sitting area. Everywhere was very clean and well maintained.
There is a 20 dollar additional charge per day which we only knew about just before arrival. This is to cover amenities, including the breakfast. However, there are no facilties for making hot drinks in the room other than coffee. For a small hotel it's appreciated providing individual facilties may be difficult but tea and milk etc could be left on the buffet bar during the day for guests.
It would make more sense to give a total price for the stay, which is the norm, and not add on fees for facilties one would expect.
