The hotel is perfectly positioned - 1 block away from Fisherman's Wharf. We were upgraded when we arrived, so that always makes a stay that much better. It was convenient having a restaurant on the premises - and the $15 per day voucher for food or drink was welcome.
The staff were fantastic - from the receptionist that upgraded us and printed our cruise tags for us, to the restaurant and bar staff, the valet and bellboy staff. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile.
A taxi was booked for us to the airport, and it was no problem to Frank at Valet Services when we decided to change the time at the last minute.
The valet parking could be cheaper - but weighed against finding parking in San Francisco, it was still worth it.

I loved the proximity to Fisherman’s Wharf, the cable cars and Ghirardelli. I were able to walk or take the trolley everywhere. I also like the separate room. It gave us more space to spread out. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and very helpful with whatever we needed.
I don’t have anything negative to say.

Nice hotel, walkable to many San Francisco sites.
The breakfast offered in the attached restaurant was really poor and for $40 per person, plus tax and tip was outrageous.

The valet guys were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Especially Azrial. It was easy to walk to restaurants etc from. Room was comfortable.
A little street noise. Not a big deal. Bar closes at 9:00.

I hoped there would be more to the breakfast offering. Actually, the coffee is awful and I had to find breakfast elsewhere.

The room was clean. The luggage attendants were good. There was free coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning then water in the lobby in the evening
I actually stayed Aug 15 to 18 and again 22nd to 23rd 2025
I have not been asked to comment on the 15th-18th stay which was a bad experience as my room faced the public courtyard so I couldnt open the curtains and the management provided guests the means to play cornhole in the courtyard so they was a "thudding noise " outside my room This was meant to stop at 8pm but usually later. I thought that sleep was a greater priority for someone who had come off an international flight than playing games. Anyway I turned on the television for distraction and found the handset was faulty and the television had to be reset. The number of channels was the basic minimum compared to my stay in Jackson. Then the next night I went for dinner in the hotel restaurant Pescatore where the service was non-existent when I told them I did not drink alcohol and my fish was dry and overcooked
When I stayed overnight Aug 22-23rd I was "upgraded" but the room faced the noisy road with squealing tyres

Great location, close to everything,
Hotel was well maintained and room was very nice.
Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was buffet style and was a rip-off for what we got. We had an early morning sight-seeing tour so thought that would be our best option given the time.
