Very creepy wall decor, continuous had to get keys remade, check out was at 12 but they checked me out at 10am while I was out shopping, housekeeping came in while I was gone and moved my stuff around

Facilities in Hotel was amazing. Great room, very good location (there were homeless people around but that is all of san francisco now), hotel safety, and definitely the aroma and scent when you enter the hotel, just amazing.
Coffee was really bad in the room, that could be improved.

Being charged an extra $39.90. Ridiculous! When I queried this I was informed it was for Wifi and tea and coffee. That is a lot of Wifi & tea & coffee for 3 people over 1 night.
Why are these costs not built into the quoted price, not lurking in the Small print.
It was a nice hotel , great staff and a perfect location.
However, we had stayed 1 night in another hotel in the same area 2 weeks prior and our bill was $200 cheaper.
Thanks Hotel Zelos, I wont be back. Felt a bit ripped off!

Very central location directly opposite Powell St BART station which made access to SFO airport ideal.
Good public transport links to all areas from Market/ Fourth St and hassle-free with a Clipper card that can be purchased at machines in BART stations.
Hotel very dark and poor lighting. Scent at reception lobby was over-powering. Included breakfast very limited and reception quite obstructive and unaccommodating for special dietary requirements. Booking said breakfast included, but didn't say if this was continental or full American and what this included. More detail required on booking description please.

Jeff on the front desk was nice and helpful.
The location is right next to where the drugged up, homeless wander around. The hotel take unauthorised payments from your card. They charge you more than you agree with booking.com. They claim you have a 10 dollar credit for the mini bar, but there is no mini bar in the room. Just $7 dollar bottles of water. They banboozle you with lots of additional costs when you check in and claim you will get it back. Do not book here. They are deceptive, deceitful thieves. I have emailed 3 times to ask why they took additional funds from my credit card 3 days after we left the hotel. Totally unacceptable.

Wonderful
Our room was spacious. There were plenty of places. Bathroom was nice. There was an ice/water dispencer on our floor. In general we liked the hotel. Location was also veey good.
Even though location was very good there were so much homeless people around the hotel. In the early morming and late nights it can be scary.
