location fine (most 5* hotels seem to be around here, even though downtown is rather scruffy these days). 24 hr gym & steam room/sauna was great.
entry door was closed! (safety reasons?) so you have to enter via the garage entry! no room service after 10.30 was a bad surprise. (then $12 for a bag of nuts...) difficult to find precise information about dining... lots of bla bla, difficult to find opening times & menus. room as surprisingly small (even for a "petite queen room"). I could hear my neighbours' conversation, tv and plumbing. pool decent (they are never long enough), but mostly had kids & families playing so difficult to do laps.

We were only passing through SanFran for less than 24hrs, but this hotel was ideally located in the city centre close to shops, restaurants and commerce. Was a comfortable, professional and executive establishment, clean and quick to get to.
