Loved my stay at Hotel Majestic! It has a beautiful old-world charm that makes it feel really special and unique compared to modern hotels. The room was clean, cozy, and full of character, and the staff were warm and welcoming. I’d definitely stay again, personally this hotel was my favorite thing about my whole stay in San Francisco.
Convenient location too, if you’re okay with a bit longer walks you can easily walk to the shopping areas and Fisherman’s wharf.

The bed was very comfortable, and my super deluxe room was absolutely beautiful.
Breakfast is very sparse. Aside from waffles, there’s nothing hot. Just boiled eggs and bread. That’s it.
The floor creaks a lot. I always woke up at 6:00 a.m. because the neighbors upstairs were walking on the creaky floor.

Room smells of old damp fabric The floor above us creaked very badly. We heard every step they made. They were doing something suspicious all week in that room. Nobody walks around a hotel room that much Starting early morning and all day thru the late night.

The location and breakfast were great. Room was pretty clean.
The bathtub is really old and hard to fix the water. AC system also needs to be renovated, so hard to fix the temperature and it was keep blowing air very strongly and noisily in random times eventhough I turned it off!

Liked the breakfast and coffee & tea service.
Staff were nice.
Our room was on bottom floor w/ windows facing Gough street. Very noisy. Would stay at hotel again but only if room faces Sutter and at least two rooms away from Gough. Also I’m a little superstitious so don’t want a room on fourth floor. Have reserved a room for May but need to find out its location.

The hotel location is convenient. The staff are very friendly and willing to help.
The drawback of your hotel is the facility, for instance, no desk in the room, no exhaust fan in the bathroom, the room is so dark, the lighting needs update and the windows are very hard to open.
It is a pity that we have to choose other hotels for our future trips, unless you have those facilities updated.

We have stayed often. We noticed that the breakfast has improved. Choice of hard boiled eggs or scrambled eggs one day and omelettes available the other. That was very nice.
