Lots of character especially the lift/elevator
Large room with his&hers sinks
Yummy breakfast with many options
Microwave/hot and cold water & coffee available all day
Great location in Japantown
We could leave our bags for the day after we checked out which was nice
The window in our room opened onto a weird roof with trash on it which was a bit unsettling.
No parking available sadly but good recommendation at Japan centre.

The staff was excellent, the location was good. The breakfast was standard but served in a beautiful dining room
The mini fridge was incredibly loud and there was no air flow to the room other than through a window air conditioner. It felt stuffy and uncomfortable with the air conditioner on and when we left the room we put it on vent only and we came back to very stuffy and smelly room. Natural air flow would make for a much better experience

It is a fairly nice old style hotel.
Cleanliness and upkeep was a bit lacking. We are attending a wedding and asked them if we could check in a 1/2 hour earlier. Said no problem. Arrived and they said rooms weren’t ready. Rooms became available 40 minutes after the standard check in and over 1 hour after our requested time. This resulted in us actually being late to the wedding. Very disappointing. Also they have no parking and there is only one garage that is relatively close and it was closed. Next closest was .5 miles away. Not very convenient.

The location is fantastic…. But DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
The “King Suite” was absolutely FILTHY: we immediately reached out to the front desk and we were told there were “no available rooms” two days after check-in (we booked the suite for 7 nights) our T.V’s stopped working… We again reached out and we were told there were still “no available rooms.” The Manager (Amit) did little to NOTHING to address all of the issues. Needless to say it was a HORRIBLE experience and we will NEVER stay here again.
