Location is perfect. Mid way between the performing arts district and the bay.
Old World charm. The included limited breakfast save a meal out. Would like to see milk alternatives and gluten free options.
Water pressure was sorely lacking for the shower.

The location was very convenient. We parked in Japantown and then walked to the hotel. We could check in early, and since it was a midweek stay, they upgraded our room to a larger size. Then, we walked to catch a cable car to Fisherman’s Wharf.

Not much.
Hotel entrance had steps to reception, no assistance with luggage. Room and corridors need a total revamp. Tiny room with air con sitting on the floor inside the room. Floor slopes in the room.

Lovely historic building. Super nice staff. Cool room and furnishings. Original artwork and fixtures/furnishings throughout. Great location. Walk to plenty. Will stay here again for sure.

Great location and cool historic building. Usual breakfast spread but enough to get you up and going each morning. Nice size room with a cool vintage feel and furnishings (in a good way).
Our room was on the Gough street side of the building and there was a bit of traffic noise. Not a crazy amount but single pane windows and thin walls meant that if you were a light sleeper it could keep you up. Not me or my 18 y.o. son but just something to note. You may want to request the Sutter St. side.

I stayed at Hotel Majestic with my family and we absolutely loved it! The location is perfect — close to everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. But what truly made our stay special was the staff — incredibly kind, helpful, and always welcoming. We would definitely come back!
