Great location near Chinatown, with plenty of great places to eat. The staff was very helpful, keen to offer advice on places to visit etc. The bed was very comfy.
It's located on a busy street and as the rooms don't have AC, we had to have windows opened - so if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs (especially if you end up with a room facing the road).
The shower was a bit too small.

Really lovely warm welcome, the lady on reception gave us lots of advice on places to go and was very accommodating with our bags. Really lovely.
The room was small but comfortable and nicely decorated, fantastic location for the wharf and places to eat and drink.
Loved getting sherry as an afternoon aperitif!
Room was a bit noisy from downstairs but it didn't affect our stay much

Staff was amazing, hotel was eclectic and cool. Great location.
Ventilation was poor, no a/c, room was very small, tv was tiny and remote didnt work.

Wonderful, clean, tastefully quirky hotel in outstanding North Beach location.
Front desk person Mary is a gem. So thoughtful, kind and helpful. Adds a real warm personal touch.
No TV for watching Warriors and 49ers.

If you want to explore Little Italy then the location is ideal. It's "beat" theme also blends in well with the neighbourhood. We really appreciated that someone was available at 2:30am to let us in when we arrived. We were concerned that street noise might be a problem so we asked for a quiet room... and indeed it was perfectly quiet.
It wasn't a problem for us but one should be aware that there is no elevator so getting up the stairs with heavy luggage could be a challenge.

I absolutely loved Hotel Boheme! It's such a great location near great breakfast, lunch, and dinner locations. We bused almost everywhere!
The room, I thought, was a decent size. I have seen some negative comments about the size of the rooms, but I thought ours was modest, with a large armoire and a table and chairs and decent ensuite. Good water pressure!
I loved the history of this hotel.
I loved its style. It sent me dreaming of the 50s.
My absolute FAVOURITE most niche and cute little freebie was the complementary glass of sherry. It is such a fitting extra that really makes you feel part of the story of San Francisco and Hotel Boheme.
I'll be back!!!

Location was great. The local cafes have great coffee, Friendly reception staff. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean. Good quality towels.
Tea and coffee facilities in the room would be appreciated.

Great hotel with lots of character in downtown. Super location yet quiet, cosy rooms, with lovely decor. Comfy beds and cleaned everyday. Friendly, helpful staff and a lovely custom of Sherry offered in the evening. Would definitely recommend it!
