Excellent location for what we wanted to do – mainly the pier and Alcatraz – and easy to get a Waymo or Uber to most other places.
A bit disappointing – our “upgrade” mentioned at arrival turned out to be the room we had originally booked, so not worth getting excited over. There was condensation on the windows as soon as we entered. The rooms didn’t match the relatively modern and smart feel of the hotel – I’d say they were on par with a Travelodge. We had an early checkout on the fourth day, and it was disappointing that we couldn’t get a takeout breakfast as requested, despite being told at the start of our stay that it would be possible. Overall, not the best value for money – just an okay, fairly average stay.

The restaurant at the hotel is great. We had a few meals that really were delicious. The hotel is quiet (in the rooms) and very comfortable. It’s also close to various rental car companies and that is definitely a plus.
I think it would be good to lose the gimmicky record players in the rooms/optional plants for company and put coffee machines in their place. It would be nice to make your own coffee when you wake and not have to go all the way down to reception first thing. Also the bathrobes are not great. Again a kind of gimmick being a type of sweatshirt/robe when a nice terry cloth robe would be just fine.

Great place to stay, easy to get around fishermans wharf and well located to public transport. Bed was very comfortable and big. The bathroom was clean and nice. The staff went above and beyond to help and make our stay comfortable

The only thing going for it is the proximity to fisherman’s wharf
My wife and ji stayed at this hotel for 3 nights from September 1 to 04. Coming from the W hotel on 3rd street I found this facility too basic. You practically had to ask for everything you need . The staff weren’t rude but were not friendly or welcoming either. However the lady on the reception desk with the Muslim Hijab, (Eva I think was the name ), was exceptional . She was very helpful and nice .
I had breakfast once at the onsite restaurant Filipino restaurant Abaca. Let me just say there are better options in the neighborhood. I had to return to remaining breakfast vouchers given to me at reception. I expect the hotel to refund the advance payment I had made for breakfast for the 2 remaining days

Location was very good, just few minutes walk to fisherman wharf and 10 minutes to pier 39
Room was very clean and comfortable

It was marked as breakfast included but in reality you get 50$ per room per-day for breakfast. Hot breakfast cost 20-25$ each plus drink. So for family of 3 if you gave hot breakfast and coffee expect pay another 60-65$ on top of 50$ voucher. Means breakfast partially included

It was very convenient and close to many sightseeing destinations, and an excellent establishment.
There was not enough assistance when arriving, and only one or two staff members were at the front desk. At times, with a busy line, the majority of the time, I needed or had a question.
