Everything, people at the shared coach room or the kitchen, breakfast and helpful people at the desk. Walking distance from moscone and nice restaurants
Elevator fixing, can be a problem for people with mobility needs.

Clean room, access to major sightseeings and transportation
It mentions that it has parking and appears as an option in booking.com, when the relevant filter is applied. However, uppon arrival, they suggest a private parking opposite the hotel, which is not free. They offer a voucher, but still you have to pay 35$ per day for the parking.

During this time of the year, it's really difficult to find a reasonably priced hotel room. Since I was on a budget, I chose this booking, although I was a little nervous to stay in a hostel, as I had never stayed in one in the US. However, the hotel itself felt really safe and clean and I am happy that I ended up staying here!
The room was a little noisy in the morning (there was construction going on outside) but for the price and location, I don't feel like I am able to complain :)

Location near Union Square and easy access to BART/public transport.
Extremely noisy both from street noise and other guests. Loud noise from construction work on the hostel from as early as 7am - conveniently not mentioned in booking.com advert. Scaffolding right along all the windows meant the curtains had to be drawn all day long. Super cold (single glazed windows) and the radiator only came on for an hour per day!
Private ensuite room looked nothing like the photos. Toilet and shower cubicle grimy…
The ‘incredible staff’ were glued to their screens, no ‘hi’, ‘hello’ or ‘f*ck you’ on our arrival - we felt like we were inconveniencing them.
The ‘breakfast’ is a joke.
Would avoid - pay an extra few bucks and get a hotel room.
