Loved the customer service, especially from Janelle at reception who upgraded me to a waterfront queen room! It really made my stay so much nicer as I only had the one night. Bag storage for the entire day was amazing and felt super safe. Breakfast had fresh pastries!
As mentioned breakfast was continental so a bit limited, but this was known ahead of time.

Honestly, I expected more for the price! The staff was great, until check out day, we called for our car(& we paid $70 for the valet parking, the only parking available at the hotel),but they were taking a long time, 20 mins my ass! So my hubby went down & they weren't even trying to get our car, they guy was just B-S-'ing with other staff members by the door. That wouldn't have been a problem except we had a reservation for the Alcatraz tour so... ya know, annoying! The sushi place next door & Perry's were amazing the food in San Francisco is great. Original Joe's had an amazing flank steak & the ravioli alongside the fresh sour dough bread just so great!
The fee for parking $70 a night, & the complimentary "breakfast" sucked!

Close to the ferry building so we could just walk right over. The staff was amazing, so nice and explained all the neat extras like free wine hour!! And the sushi restaurant attached was delicious, also had great staff. The room was small but perfect for us, we just needed a bed and a shower. Water pressure was great. Amenities were perfect. Can't believe this hotel wasn't more money per night, maybe the rooms are smaller than average? It just seemed like a more upscale place but affordable for the average Joe.
The only thing I didn't like, and this is a very personal preference, is that the AC fan wouldn't stay on so I kept waking up. If it's too quiet I can't sleep so I usually turn on the fan in the room, but once it would get to the temperature it would shut off and I would wake up... I should have just brought my own fan or asked the front desk for one. I also woke up hearing a woman walking her dog down the hallway. Again, not a deal-breaker, something I will just have to remember next time we stay there but if you're a light sleeper like me and need the white noise definitely bring something cuz it is way too quiet.
