Everything basic but clean, comfortable and great location close to downtown and a cable car stop. Coming from the airport easy to reach from Powell St BART Station with a short walk but last section up a pretty steep hill. Breakfast just basic sweet cakes and no healthy options, just too much sugar content.
Fridge, microwave and electric kettle in the room would have been handy

Location is perfect. The hotel is a good starting point for walking around SF. There are many restaurants and bars around, it is close to the cable car station. Free coffee in the lobby all day long and bakery in the morning.
The only thing I could see through my window was a brick wall.

Older hotel with well-functioning amenities and a comfortable, quiet room. Everything worked. Staff were friendly. Free-flowing coffee/tea in the lobby and a baked pastry selection provided an adequate breakfast. Location very convenient to Chinatown, downtown and public transport.
Some fruit or juice or yogurt would nicely supplement the breakfast, but overall, this is a good value, comfortable hotel.

Spacious clean room. Ideal for short breaks or business trips. Great value for money, given the exorbitant prices for higher end hotels in downtown SF. Location is also good, very close to Union square.

Great location, great staff, hot shower, enough water pressure, and free breakfast pastries. Second time I’ve stayed here for a conference, will be back here next year.
Old building, so bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

The location, the reasonable price, the staff, the hot tea and the pastries from the hotel, the microwave in the lobby area, and that they provided me with a fridge for my room.

location is really good and stuff is helpful
while location is good you have to pay 35$ for parking (24 hours but single entry). Room was clean but whole hotel is old and smelly. it's kind of a place where you try not to touch things. Despite of good price and location I wouldn't stay there again

A good location near small bars and Union Square. Quick short walk to Market street and close to Bart and Muni. Good pastries for breakfast.
I didn't get to stay long enough. Maybe next time I'll stay longer.
