Location is excellent: easy to get to it by car, close to many sites so that you can walk to them.
Free parking.
I stayed in a recently renovated room: it was of good size for 2 people and with large bathroom.
Even if not spotless, sufficiently clean.
Area around the hotel seems pretty safe.
I would say good value for San Francisco
Noisy. It is a motel, with the room door directly to the outside. Door and window are definitely not soundproof and so the noise from the street can be heard easily in the room. If you are a light sleeper, the noise from the street will be a problem.
Parking is free, but many spots are really narrow and tight.
The cleaning staff is not always careful in providing the toiletries and enough towels for all occupants of the room.

Love the location! Good price and clean. Do wish the coffee was available all day! Check in was at 4 pm after a 6 hour drive and was sad I couldn’t grab coffee but that’s so minor. Overall I enjoyed the stay.

Huge beds and very comfy. Smelled lovely and was very clean. Large room and bathroom. Everything we needed including a fridge. Location was excellent for exploring and only a 15 minute walked to the crooked Lombard St part.
It was a bit pricey compared to other motels we stayed in but hey it was San Francisco!

Very clean rooms en excellent location. Easy walk down to the Fishermans Warf. Also very nice staff. We left out SSD drive at this hotel, and they found it en sent it to our hotel in Los Angeles. Very sweet! Would definitely recommend this place.

The room is too small for four people with suitcases. The staff were impatient and rude.

Location is great and parking is free.
Our room was on the bottom floor facing the busy street and between that and the loud AC, it was really hard to get a good sleep. The beds were big but squeaky and so were the doors. This place is very minimalist in terms of any kind of service - do not expect much beyond getting a bed.

First check in and ask for your parking permit , otherwise you will not be welcomed kindly.
