I stayed here for an overnight trip to attend an event with my partner so we really just needed a place to get ready and sleep. The room was clean and comfortable, small, but with a good sized bathroom; it also had a microwave and refrigerator. We were able to park easily (free parking always appreciated!). Room seemed recently updated and the staff member I spoke to was friendly. For the price we paid, I would stay here again under similar circumstances.
There were only three hangers in the "closet" area, which was not convenient. While updated, the furniture in the room (bench and chair) were not comfortable for sitting and the bed could have used more pillows - they were small.

Room was newly renovated. Staff was nice.
I want to give this a good rewiew, but I just can't. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was newly refurbished, but it was very NOISY. The people above me walking around sounded like the might come through the ceiling. If you stay here, ask for the fourth floor. Of course, they returned every night at midnight and woke me up. One time, someone (a child maybe) was running around and I thought for sure the ceiling would collapse. Also, Franklin St. is very close and the traffic noise is also very loud (photo included). One morning, a garbage truck pulled up right behind my room at 4:58 am and it sounded like it was right on top of me. I included a photo of the truck also. You can see how close it is. Of course, I was wide awake to take the photo. Basically, the walls are rice paper thin. I don't know why they even bothered building places like this in the past. I think they don't really even build these paper thin constructions anymore. Obviously, the owners cannot do anything about this but for me the very basic requirement of a hotel is that you can SLEEP. This place does not meet that. It is so loud you feel like you are sleeping outside. This is very close to the noisiest place I have ever stayed. Another pet peeve was the bathroom lighting was motion activated and very BRIGHT, so you could NOT turn it off. It came right back on every time and was blinding.

The room is nice, clean and simple. comfortable bed.
It'a very loud!!! You can hear the neighbors as well as the traffic, it's like cars are driving right in front of the rooms..
Also the windows don't open, so your only option is dry recycled air.
