Wonderful
Massive apartment on the top floor of the hotel with great views across the city. Lounge area was great so that my son and his girlfriend staying in another room could join us when planning activities before heading out. Young adults in our party enjoyed the gym.
Due to different size of rooms requested, our two rooms were unable to be on the same floor.

Absolutely loved the hotel - beautiful rooms and facilities, excellent location. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Was a bit frustrating that the cocktail bar was booked for private event one evening so was not accessible (and I booked hotel for this).. also the wi-fi was down for an upgrade (although a facilities man helped me get the TV working on the second night) and there was also no room service.. I think I just happened to stay in the wrong week.
I wasn't that impressed with the breakfast facilities - it's basically a cafe linked to the street so the queue in the morning was awful

Location, comfortable beds, nice interior, historic building
No parking, you can have valet parking in nearby parking spots for $50-$67 per 24 hours. Although breakfast was tasty, the employees at the restaurant were neither nice nor friendly, specially a man who is probably a manager. They automatically add 18% tip to the cost of breakfast so I guess they did not have any motivation to provide good service and be nice. Also, we did not get any help with our luggage when we arrived and when we were leaving. Definitely did not feel as a 4 star hotel, but this is SF and the standards are low
