Ideal Base for exploring San Francisco - close to all attractions.
Room was a little cramped for a family of 4.

We spent three days at this hotel. Everything was as expected, and the hotel staff was really friendly. The location was amazing — everything is close by, and there are plenty of restaurants around the hotel. We’ll definitely visit this hotel again in the future.

Central location within the city near Chinatown. It was very easy to reach all the spots across the Pier. All of the city was basically walkable from there. The staff was friendly and the free coffee and water was actually of pleasant taste.
The facilities are a little bit on the older site and the rooms quite warm. This isn‘t a dealbreaker but if you‘re conscious about these things better choose another hotel.

Location was great. Near the cable cars and easy access to transport. Free cookies and tea/coffee!
Hearing is controlled centrally and seems to come on regardless of outside temp.

Gave us complimentary sparkling wine for our anniversary stay, was able to check in super early, and staff are very friendly! Great pillows. Location amazing! We didn't find the noise to be that big of an issue because we had long days exploring the city and were dead tired.
Beds are way too soft - fine if you're sleeping alone, but hard if you're sleeping with someone else. The whole bed will move if you turn in bed. Water pressure could be a bit better in the shower but I understand it's an old building and we were on the 11th floor.

Clean comfortable rooms. Lots of storage. Friendly helpful staff. Great central location near shops and restaurants. Cable car stop outside.
The lobby/bar area is gloomy and cold.

I was absolutely delighted with my stay at this hotel! Let me start by saying that the location is fantastic — just 300 meters from Union Square, which makes it super convenient. The metro, cable car, and Wranglers are all within walking distance, and the street itself is very quiet and safe, which I really appreciated.
My room was spacious and thoughtfully equipped, featuring a hairdryer, ironing board, and iron — all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The bed was large, soft, and incredibly comfortable — perfect after a long day of exploring the city.
The staff and lobby amenities were also excellent — everyone was kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. On the first floor, there’s a coffee machine, microwave, fresh lemon water, tea, and cookies available at all times — such a lovely touch!

Well, my friend booked in that area, if it was me, I would of booked near fisherman wharf and pier 39 area, more things to do at night. Hotel surrounding is safe as they had a mobile police command center nearby the parking I parked at.
For the hotel they are good, except the bed was too soft in the middle.

The room shared a door with another room and it was very noisy - could hear anything going on in that room.

It was so luxurious! One of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The beds were so comfortable and fluffy, I loved the vintage feel of the bathroom with the black and white tiles. The little add-ons in the room really made it stand out—the candies, bath salts, cotton swabs, free apples in the lobby, etc. The extra pillows you could order were so fun and helped me sleep like a baby. Staff was warm and helpful. 10/10!
The walls were paper thin.
