Hotel is well managed. It's clean, comfortable and very well situated for the Castro quarter. The staff were polite and friendly. Lots of bars and eateries close by.

Friendly staff. Our rooms were nicely furnished with newly remodeled bathrooms with nice deep shower/bathtub was nice. We enjoyed the rainfall shower head. The property was clean and well kept. Safe parking for my car was a big plus as well. I appreciate that prior to check in that our rooms were located at the back of the building l, which had been recommended by the motel staff and were much appreciated, and assured us a good night sleep. We took the stairs at one point during our stay and they too were clean and well kept. The ice and vending machines were close by and accessible which were nice also.
Only thing I can even think of that I would improve is the 3 steps leading into the office looked at. The steps are hard to navigate.

Great location in the Castro - tons of good restaurants, coffee shops, and stores in walking distance, safe and residential area, and can hop on the streetcar right out front for a quick ride up to Ghirardelli Square, Pier 39, and Alcatraz. Free parking!! Parking lot had plenty of space. Room was large, bathroom was clean and recently updated. Personally I had no issues with noise at night. Great value for the price in San Francisco!
Exterior doors aren’t my favorite in a hotel, but there was gated access to the upper levels which helped me feel safer. No real amenities here other than a vending machine and ice machine, but I’d rather not pay extra for a gym I won’t use and continental breakfast I won’t eat, anyways.

Very close to the Castro theater. We were able to walk to our event very quickly. Ed was very nice when we arrived and the gates to go upstairs and to the elevator had keycard access only which we loved.
The noise was a bit much from the busy road. There also wasn’t a latch lock on the door for the added security to the room.

Close to important venue, nice neighborhood, beautiful creeping fog with hills, nice neighborhood walk, nice view of busy Market St. with quaint electric buses, not as busy as downtown, best showers and sink, redone, PARKING
Overpriced. Should be $150.
