The location and cleanliness of the room.
The lady at the reception wasn’t very nice or welcoming. The room was very noisy in the morning (no noise insulation). We woke up at 6:30am because the blinds were useless and the room was full of light. It’s normal to have some light but this was way too much. The price was way too high for what we got.
Don’t agree to sleep in the rooms which are close to the street.

-Location, location, location. We had a tour in the Castro and were able to walk across the street to join in.
-parking. An absolute godsend in the city!
-Simple but tastefully decorated rooms, comfortable, and exceptionally attentive staff
The traffic on market Street can be a bit loud, but they do have rooms on the backside of the hotel, which are quieter. And since they think of everything, complementary earplugs are included.

As with all things in San Francisco, the city never sleeps so there is some ambient noise from Market Street. Earplugs do the trick and are thoughtfully provided (if needed) for folks who may be light sleepers. There are also king rooms available on the non street side.

Everything about this motel was fantastic. Super nice front desk staff, plenty of parking, clean quiet comfy rooms and such a wonderful location in SF. It's a little more than I usually can afford to pay comfortably but if I'm ever staying in San Francisco again and I have the disposable income, I'll be staying here again.

The location in the heart of the Castro brought back so many happy memories. We had delicious food options and a very clean room. We really appreciated the earplugs & the fan-heater for a restful night’s sleep. The staff were also exceptionally professional & accommodating.
There was a slight musty smell to the room. There was a towel and a sheet with s hole or threadbare spot.

This stylishly renovated motel located in a wonderful neighborhood. Lots of great restaurants. It also provides first come first served parking, which is a huge plus.
It is a motel on a busy street which means street noise, but it’s worth it for the convenient location.

Very classic retro feeling motor hotel. Great value especially since they have parking! We were a family group of 11 and it worked out very well.
Classic motel set up. Since each room has a big window onto the walkway you might end up keeping your blinds closed most of the time.
