Location and bed were super comfortable
The staff behind the counter was not very friendly on checkin !!! Also you need more hand rails for your hand towels next to the hand basin and requires luggage racks for our suitcases

Strong smell of bleach in room and bathroom,

I wanted to love Beck’s, but… The bed was comfy and room good size, but I could hear every word of the conversation of my neighbors until 1AM. There was a nice size bathroom, but the hot water only worked intermittently. The place has an awesome location, so it’s popular, but the heater makes weird sound, so they have to provide space heater.
I did not have hot water in sink or in shower at night after concert, so I had to washcloth lukewarm quick, then go to bed dirty. It was like staying in a mountain hut! Brr…
I did have hot water the next morning, so eventually got a shower.

Great location. Great staff. We’ve emailed about our arrival time, it was earlier than the standard check in time, and we’ve got our room ready when we arrived, pretty nice and sweet! Walking distance to the Castro Theatre, really convenient! There’re some Taco places nearby, don’t miss that!
