Great location, right at the end of Fishermans wharf, plenty of restaurants and shops/shops around. Close to tram stop. Staff really friendly and helpful - on check in when they knew we were celebrating dads 80th birthday, they gave us vouchers for free glasses of wine, money off voucher for the restaurant, my dad was given a mug with the hotels logo on filled with sweets, when we got to the room there was a bottle of wine waiting and a card. Room was clean, well appointed. Also staff gave you bottles of water every day.

The property is in a good location if you want to be near the pier and tourist attractions. It is right across the street from the cable car boarding station.
I was charged for drinks I did not order, and two weeks after I checked out I’m continuing to receive charges on my card for things unlisted on my folio. I’m starting to believe their practice is to charge people with the hopes that no one pays attention to their statement. The hotel is nice but very expensive for what you get. And be prepared to tip everyone because the staff won’t leave unless you tip them

Good location close to Fisherman's Wharf. Good size room.
Had pre-paid for a room for 4 nights. When checking in there was a mistake by the hotel taking my card details in the usual check in process, after the first night I got a number of calls and was asked to come to reception because there had been a problem with taking my details for incidentals.
Arriving back at the hotel there was a large queue of people checking in and I needed the bathroom so decided to return to my room and come back in a short time. Upon arriving at the room I found neither of the keys worked. Going back to reception I asked if they had deliberately locked me out of my room. They confirmed they had.
The hotel could see I had not charged anything to the room so the only thing they could be concerned about was the mini bar. 1 night into a 4 night stay that had been pre-paid at $1,000 per night and I was made to feel like a criminal by being locked out of my room because the hotel had made a mistake was unacceptable and in my opinion is a terrible way to treat guests in a luxury hotel.
When I conveyed my feelings to the reception staff I was simply told ' we are sorry you feel that way, but we are glad you are here so we can rectify it'.
There are many great hotels in San Francisco, I would advise you choose one other than this.
