Oakland is not a safe city I know I grew up there
Someone broke into a vehicle in the parking lot there was glass on the ground
Hotel was close to the airport and that helps

The room is very confortable and clean
The location at night can be spooky, it is a great choise if you are flying the next morning tho.

I had thought the airport shuttle would have been included in the price being so close to the airport. It wasn’t much but should have been included which I thought it did.

$20 charge for parking, gate open not secured parking. Neighborhood trashy homeless around property.

because of the lousy air flight connections i had on a trip to italy, i was forced to arrive a day early and leave a day late in oakland. that meant two hotel night stays. the staff was extremely accommodating, even allowing me to check out 2 hours past the official checkout time. my final flight home was in the evening and i had no place to go until departure time. a late check out and being able to hang out in their lobby for a few hours was greatly appreciated. the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, especially in contrast to some of the beds i slept in during my italian vacation. lots of choice for breakfast as well. when i needed their shuttle service they were very prompt.
nothing, other than a bit of trouble signing on to their wifi. but it was quickly resolved with their help.
