When I checked out, additional Oakland city taxes were added to my bill. Parking was charged extra which I consider exploitation because no customer is going to come to the hotel walking, hence this is absurd. The front desk clerk was not helpful at all

They charged $150 deposit and all their food they sold was small and they still charged $3 it was different than any holiday inn express I ever stayed

They charge for parking with a security gate and no personal. The have a $150.00 deposit and take their time returning the money to the account. They have hidden fees that dont show up till the bill is published. The rate does not meet the expectation.

handicap parking clean rooms and nice location
SECURITY ISSUES! Arrived at 12:15am ish Sept 14,2025. Parked in front handicap space and are greeted by 1 angry underage male and his 5-6 underage female friends. Luckily nothing happened but the male came up to my dads passanger side door and hit the window multiple times demanind to be let in. Was high on drugs or alcohol provbably! So I address the issue to the front desk women and she basicly shguggs her shoulders saying "are they guests?" Thats not the point!!!! The point is the SAFETY ISSUES and that shes didnt even lift a finger to ask or see what was going on! The suspects kept walking in and out of the hotel hallways and lobby and the dront desk women DID NOTHING!!!! SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUES ! Check the cameras!!! The same male threatened the arriving guest checking in as they both entered the doorway to the entrance.... Check the cameras please! there should be accountability!
