Price.
Room was tiny. Only chair was underneath the clothes rack that served as a closet. No hooks in bathroom to hang towels. No outdoor space.

The room was available. the cost was in my budget. staff was friendly, did not have a problem with the neighborhood. took a cab to and from. did not have a problem coming in after 10pm from an all day conference.

The manager was very nice and helpful. Because I am handicapped I asked for a ground floor room upon arrival. He went out of his way to accommodate me. Whoever said that it was dirty and full of bed bugs was just trying to give it a low score.

Management tried to assess charges that were not part of the reservation. I now have a charge from booking.com of $87.59. This is a fraudulent charge and the circumstances were discussed at length with booking.com. I demand that booking.com reverse this charge.

Very close by the bay bridge, which was important because we were going to San Francisco every day. Good facilities, everything I needed in a room. Good shower with hot and cold water, a deep sink which I liked. Good bathroom. Room was clean when we entered and room service cleaned it and resupplied items while we were out. Nice staff.
We were looking for something cheaper ideally. This was the best we found, and the facilities are good but it'd be nice if it was cheaper.

A better place than the upwardly neighborhood, well kept, and clean. A short walk to Bart.
