Arrived an hour after check in time (3pm) and was told my room still wouldn’t be ready for an hour to an hour and half longer since it hadn’t been cleaned yet. Annoying as we had planned to go up to our room and refresh ourselves after our 6 hour drive but things happen- major issue is I had to ask if I would get some kind of discount for the inconvenience it wasn’t just offered. On top of that they had elevators out so you had to take the stairs up or down one to get on a functioning elevator. Then the WiFi went out for like an hour. Just a lot of little things I’d prefer not to encounter on vacation.

The location is close to the subway. Nice breakfast. Also the swimming pool was very nice.

Parking is a bonus as many places are highly expensive here and difficult to get spaces. It made it easier for us to grab an uber outside to head into the city. We only stayed 2 nights and it was comfortable for that. Breakfast had good choices considering how small it is to cater for the whole hotel. Rooms a decent size.

It is in good location: close to Hollywood walk and to Universal Studio.
The only minus is sticky carpet. Feels like it wasn’t deep cleaned for awhile. Also this hotel do not provide additional bed.
