The lobby is absolutely gorgeous
You have to leave the hotel and go across the street to access all amenities...pool, gym & complimentary drink smh very inconvenient for $300 a night ...and the valet parking was expensive

I wanted to check in and was told to park in valet parking even after I told front sttendant I was not going to leave car there, just checking in., Don’r like carpet in room it had weird smell. Many places, restaurants around hotel are closed during weekend.

Disappointed with Customer Service and Lack of Transparency
What I didn’t like was the poor customer service, especially at check-in. The agent was very short with me, didn’t explain any of the charges made to my card, and rushed me—even though there was no one else waiting. When I asked to upgrade my room, I was told the hotel was fully booked, yet I was given a room on the 12th floor with a terrible ceiling view, despite my booking stating a city view. I asked again about upgrading to a suite, but I was brushed off.
The next day, my card was charged an extra $200 without explanation. When I arrived, valet parking was full, so I was told to park across the street and was assured my parking would be validated. However, the next day, the check-in agent only gave me an $8 discount out of a $30 charge—and again, didn’t explain the charges. I only realized what happened when I saw my card statement and had to figure it out myself.
At checkout, I asked about the charges and was again brushed off. I had already been charged, and then another $200 was added with no clear explanation. The staff didn’t seem welcoming or concerned, which was frustrating considering I spent over $1,000 for just two nights.
The hotel really needs to work on its customer service. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one fell short. Definitely not worth the price.

The location is great. Looking out at night at the City Library etc. was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The front desk handled a difficult situation about the lack of hot water in a calm and friendly manner. The Porter was especially helpful with my bag.
No hot water. The hotel says it has room service, and the hotel restaurants provide it, but it is really outsourced, and the food was terrible, which really needs to be addressed. I was there for the convenience of being close to a meeting, and not fighting traffic to get there. But the hotel didn't provide what I needed to be at my best.

Was having issues with my key when I first arrived, but thankfully the issue did not persist. A map to find dining and shopping within the hotel would’ve been helpful as well.
