We expected a little more than what was offered. There was no toothbrush, toothpaste etc which is a standard in many hotels.

I absolutely love staying at this property. It is so comfortable. The employees are wonderful. The only thing I wish is that there was room service.

The bedding was super. The pillows, sheets , comforter and mattress were simply the most comfortable that I’ve experienced in a hotel.
The check out could have been better. The car valet worked very well on the phone with a QR code. Unfortunately the baggage valet from the room didn’t work as well. The kiosk was not working and we told the valet who told us it would be a few minutes. 35 minutes later, we called the front desk who expedited the bags. We had our bags a little less than ten minutes later. What bothers me is the valets were more concerned that our car was taking up a space in the exit row than solving the issue of why our bags were not being brought down from our room. I’m not sure why the baggage retrieve couldn’t use the same system as the QR code for retrieving the bags.

The property was very clean, room was comfortable. Double bed with city view.
The only thing I disliked was the amount of street noise that we were able to hear every night from outside traffic and sirens from Fire and Emergency Vehicles it really did disturb my sleep each night that I stayed at the property.

The location is great with many great restaurants near by
The cafe in the lobby courtyard never has the items that one orders on the kiosk and the staff members are terribly overworked. For such an iconic hotel, it’s a shame that they treat the cafe workers in a manner where they looked exhausted. Plus they make the same staff run room service orders so for a “quick service” expect to wait 30+ minutes for your food. Especially after 9pm

Really like the lobby area with the fountains and the decor. This hotel has been an icon in DTLA for ages. Valet parking is a breeze to get the car in and out.
Getting quick service at the lobby cafe takes greater than 30 minutes. Not enough staff even during the morning and evening rush time. Workers looked very tired.

It's a beautiful hotel, the cosmetics. Concierge was kind she gave us a late check out because we arrived late.
The parking, we pulled in very tired and I'm sure there were several events going on. It took us 50 minutes to park with Valet, it was after 10 pm and we just wanted to sleep. People were honking, reving their engines it was uncomfortable.
