Located in the center of Downtown, Per La, Autograph Collection is a hotel inspired by the building in which it’s housed. Originally the Bank of Italy, a historic 12-story building on the corner of Olive and 7th Street, the space is a symbol of inclusion and accomplishment. All rooms feature original artwork from a Paris-based design studio and are dressed in custom-designed furnishings and luxury linens. Some of the room are very small & you can’t even fit 2 people in the bathroom at the same time. Service in the restaurant is slow & waiters come out with food & have no clue which table to serve it to so by the time it comes to you, it’s cold. Nice rooftop pool/bar area.
The area surrounding the hotel is very seedy & loaded with homeless people & tent cities. The smell of urine is overwhelming!
