The location was perfect. Every detail in decor was gorgeous everywhere! Staff was aprochable, polite, knowledgeable and helpful. The restaurant was gorgeous, and the food was exquisite. The family really enjoyed the stay.
I couldn't find a hair dryer. I would have loved to see the rooftop at night, but understand the hours of operation.

Stunning interior and gorgeous, large bedroom and bathroom. Saturday afternoon at the Rooftop pool was super chill, fun vibes! Poolside drinks and cool were delish.
I only stayed for one night so I thought the $250 holding deposit was a bit over the top. I hope I am refunded

Wonderful
We come here regularly for a staycation in DTLA and always enjoy the vibe as we chill by the pool. Brunch was great.
Valet parking is crazy expensive at $66 - so check out other local alternatives.

Good
The staff is very professional and accommodating.
The bed is very comfortable
The rooms in general are on the smaller side. There is need for better cleaning (spider webs by the lamps) and relatively dusty and the bathroom filters are just full of dust. Price vs quality not exactly there

Pleasant
The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The housekeeping service was excellent and everything felt fresh and tidy throughout the stay.
The hotel did not feel worth the high price. It was quite expensive for what it offered, and the location in downtown Los Angeles was not ideal — it didn’t feel very safe or convenient.

It’s beautifully appointed and the staff is friendly. The rooftop pool is great.
The location is being gentrified and I didn’t always feel safe walking around. However, I never had, in all my stays at Per La, anything bad happen or been accosted by anyone.

Very Poor
I arrived to the Hotel at 10 PM, it was my first time in LA and Downtown LA at night is really not at all pleasant. My Credit Card was unfortunately blocked from the bank that morning, after my first transaction in the USA, because the bank wasn’t informed about the trip and they blocked it for security reasons. The Girl on the Front Desk refused to check me in without the Credit Card. I asked her many many times to help me out and let me pay cash or per bank transfer and explained to her that I was alone and it was late at night and I would probably find nowhere else to stay in Downtown and didn’t know anybody in LA who could help me out. She was unfortunately absolutely cold hearted, never smiled once or tried to help me and just repeatedly said: „I can’t check you in without a credit card mam“ . At the end she reassured me that the hotel wouldn’t charge anything, which also didn’t happen , since they charged my credit card with the first night on the next day( when my credit card was unblocked)! This is absolutely unacceptable and the worst concept of customer service, was a nightmare for me.

Fair
Honestly, I’m not sure why the interior was designed this way. At first glance, it looked clean, but upon closer inspection, it wasn’t entirely spotless. The shower was placed behind a folding screen, which made it feel cramped and inconvenient. I also found a strand of hair on the bed, which was a bit unpleasant. That said, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and despite some discomforts, I still had a relatively comfortable stay.
Nothing
