Friendly and approachable staff, have disposable slippers, clean room, location not great since near skid row but has security and feels safe from the inside. Tasty food from bakery
For the price, it would have been helpful to have a toothpaste and toothbrush instead of the mouthwash and also mini deodorant. Breakfast should have been included given the price.

The best part about renting a room at the Miyako hotel was that your location were your staying at is right next to the heart of little Tokyo in LA. You don't have to walk so far, because your next to all these exciting fun places to look and discover. The staff of the hotel are amazing people. You get treat with respect and curiosity. I've stayed at the Miyako hotel three times now and I have never had any issues what's so ever with anyone from there. The security staff are very generous and professional. Everyone at the hotel are professionals and treat there customers as special guests. You also get at the end of your last stay at the hotel a gift of Japanese cookies that were hand made as a gift for staying with them. I won't change the Miyako hotel for anything. I would definitely chose to stay with them. Even the parking staff are very amazing and generous. A very high level of security at these hotel. I'd say this is the only hotel in LA with the highest level security ever seen before. Book with them and you'll see it for yourself.
