The hotel has very nice facilities and its location is certainly a strong point, since it is [barely] within walking distance of the Walt Disney Concert Hall (it takes you 20 minutes to walk there), and The Broad. On good weather evenings, having a short stroll around Little Tokyo is also quite enjoyable. Lots of food opportunities around!
Being an European, I can never understand why such a costly accommodation price does not include breakfast...

Slept very well in a comfy bed with crisp linen. A Japanese bidet toilet is always a plus! Spacious comfortable simple decorated room. I appreciated the bottled water which not every hotel provides. Next door to Little Tokyo Metro and the Japanese Plaza with all its ships, cafes and restaurants.
This safe area is only a few blocks away from more dangerous streets. I noted the hotel has armed security guards! You just need to be wary at night time not to stray too far away from Little Tokyo
