The hotel has a nice balcony with a table and chair to enjoy the fresh air and I enjoyed the apartment style rooms with lots of space .
A big thing is they do not clean your room at all unless you stay for at least 14 days with them and if you want a cleaning it’s $150 a night. Self parking is 55 a night and there are no food places , drinks or anything in that hotel . We had an AC issue where I’m sure it was a refrigerant leak and they cared less about the issue . The guy comes up to “look” at it and didn’t even listen to the sounds I was talking about . The room also has minimal plugs in the bedroom only one side of the bed has plugs to charge a phone or anything else. I don’t know if I would stay again.

The room was very spacious, well-lit, and had two separate bedrooms with king beds, one with a connecting bathroom, and the other adjacent to the bathroom. We used the kitchen, and it included everything we needed (we brought our own blender). The beds were comfortable, the room was peaceful and nicely appointed with furniture (now I realize I didn't take a picture of the L-shaped couch that was perfect for an afternoon nap and reading by natural light), and the views were beautiful. It was simple to UBER 4 miles to/from USC, and we felt very safe and comfortable walking around to nearby restaurants (dinner at Bossa Nova was fantastic, as was SandCouch cafe for breakfast). Nice balcony with seating outside, to enjoy the views. The reception staff were exceedingly nice.
The light switches in both bedrooms didn't seem to work, so lighting in the bedrooms was a bit frustrating (and dark). Also, the pocket door in the king with the connecting bathroom slid extremely easily going into the restroom, but was nearly impossible to slide back when trying to exit. I had to get help from the outside twice, so we just didn't use the door, which was not ideal. Parking in the hotel is $40-55/day and provides in/out privileges, which was convenient, although I noticed a secure parking lot across the street which appeared to be only $10/day.

Public areas are not clean, elevators are dirty, apartment are not clean. A lot of stains can easily removed by wiping surfaces but yet kitchen cupboards, tables, walls are full of greasy stains.

The view the room and the space
Last year I had major issues and I was supposed to receive 2 comp nights. So when I returned on my birthday this year they had no clue as to what I was talking about... never again.

Pool, view,comfortable pillows
The hallway was dirty and smelly. The oven didn’t work and also some of the appliances stalled us from making Mother’s Day dinner!

Great central location downtown and very few homeless people if any in that area. A couple of good restaurants and fast casual food spots in the area.
The apartment was very roomy, upscale and we had a great view from the balcony. The kitchen was great for freak cooked breakfast in the mornings. We really enjoyed the huge pool, gym and basketball courts. Great for families with children. Metro station is just a short walk away and you can take the train all the way to Venice Beach or Little Tokyo for example.
On the weekend it becomes a “party” location for younger individuals so you might hear some noise (luckily we had an end room and didn’t have a lot of noise).
