The staff and valet were nice. That’s all I can say.
Only one elevator worked and I was stuck on the 10th floor. There was no way to go down without waiting an obscene amount of time because the anime convention people were there and taking up the whole thing with costumes leaving me to take 10 flights of stairs each way. Just awful.

Pleasant
The community / public spaces in the hotel are gorgeous. The pool is also very nice and the dining area overlooking the pool is enchanting. Plus, good food. Also, the staff are super friendly and helpful.
My room was very dark, the bathroom was tiny, and the bed was rather uncomfortable.

Wonderful
Hotel Figueroa oozes with character and charm. I had several meetings in the restaurants and lobby with guests staying at well know high end and much more expensive hotels. They all commented how amazing the hotel is. My room was spacious and very comfortable.
Only one elevator worked. Workout room is too small and needs more equipment

Staff was friendly and tried to be accomodating
Overall backbone interior decor of the hotel felt very old, even though it was furnished stylishly. The rooms felt cold and unwelcoming. TV did not work. Bathroom was not furnished well. We left one night early.
