The breakfast needs major improvements. The eggs taste like powdered something. Bringing some waffles to the table please

This hotel had all the services I needed for my short trip to LA. Safe, convenient, comfortable, with a very reasonable gym, a spacious room, a comfortable bed, and a nice lounge that doubles as the breakfast area. I liked how the taxi drop-off/pickup is inside the enclosed, protected garage, and not out on the street.
Breakfast is decent, but not a single fruit or vegetable in sight. The area is a bit iffy - I spotted a homeless encampment in the adjacent street, and I wouldn't walk that area at night time.
