Rooms are clean, comfortable, and stylish, and we had a wonderful view of Otis College and LAX. Could not hear plane engine noise so just watched planes silently land and take off. Had a heat problem but engineering fixed it quick. Soaps and lotions supplied were high quality. Staff was nice although some were a little young and inexperienced. Wifi was good.
It's got the basics but amenities fall short for a hotel at this price range (~$275/night when you add tax and resort fee). The much vaunted cabana club is tiny and gets packed quick. The bar and restaurant was generally empty because there are much better offerings to be had within walking distance. There's no self park option and valet was $52/night. A coffeemaker in the room would have been nice.

Wonderful
The room was a double and it was spacious enough for two travelers. It was clean, plenty of outlets, and the bathroom was nice. We also liked the products they used for body wash, shampoo, hand soap, etc. The property is simple, but very stylish. It's a short distance from LAX, there are many shops, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. a short walk away. So, if you've been worn out by the LA traffic, you can grab dinner and drinks nearby. We usually ate breakfast off property, but there's a cafe onsite and the food smelled pretty good. The staff are really friendly and helpful, especially the valets! We loved chatting with them while picking up or dropping off our rental.
Nothing that is within their control. We visited in May and would have liked to enjoy the pool, but it's outdoors and while it is heated, we preferred not to get out and be cold. Again, not really on them, great stay.

The room is a good size, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a great vibe, fun and upbeat.
The rug in the room isn't very comfortable. I wish they had robes and slippers in the room. Also they should have toiletry kits in the room. A coffee station in the room would also be great. It would be great if you could pre-order breakfast and the kitchen was open past 9 pm for late arrivals to get some dinner.

First of all: This hotel had the best shower of any hotel I've ever stayed in. Fantastic water pressure. 10/10
Great location, really close to LAX (our reason for staying here) but also just a short drive from Venice and Abbot Kinney Boulevard for shopping and eating. Super clean room, decently spacious, nice staff.

The decor. The beds were so comfy. Super handy for LAX. I didn't use the pool area but it had a lovely vibe. It didn't feel like an airport hotel at all. The staff were so kind and helpful.
