Very close to LAX Airport but also close to Playa de Rey a cute beach town South of Venice Beach .
The rooms were a little too simple, the sheets were not comfortable and the city view is not good on the lower floors.

BEST STAFF EVER. Exceedingly and continously impressed with how kind, accommodating, and generous literally every staff member was. We felt right at home. The pool was such an added bonus. Warm and refreshing, good music, great drinks, a perfect way to beat the heat. Also, BEST BED I'ver ever had a hotel, and I've been traveling for over 20 years. Slept wondefully as it was also surprisingly quiet.
There's not really any view, so paying extra for an "ocean view" is silly. It's really more of an "airport view" and the ocean off in the distance. Hardly an issue, but don't pay more for it.

Beautiful boutique hotels right near the airport and beaches. We were in LA for a wedding with multiple events across the city so this was a great midway point to get to all of them while also being close to explore multiple beaches. The free to use bikes were an amazing addition plus the bar happy hour. I saw reviews complaining about the LAX noise which worried me, maybe we lucked out that our room was facing the other way but we had no issues with the noise.
More bikes to use would have been great. If you don't get them early in the day then there is no chance to use them.

gorgeous boutique hotel right next to LAX. we enjoyed the pool and restaurant too. the room was filled with Aesop products and handy items like a clothes steamer :)
the room was pretty basic, but comfy beds and great to have Aesop products!
