Historic and full of famous ghosts, quaint rooms with good quality linen, great bar.
Sunset Boulevard - that end is a little scary.

Overall hotel and dining was great.
Air conditioning did not work in room and had to have the maintenance team several times to my room. They ended up bring a fan but it was not adequate.

First time at the Chateau: the hotel is deliberately old-fashioned, but its charm is fully matched by top-notch service and staff. You might find yourself sipping a cocktail at the bar as a Hollywood diva walks in, or discover the pool closed for a private event like the launch of a new album: this is Chateau Marmont. A special mention goes to Carlos, a wonderful person and a truly attentive professional.
