We absolutely loved our stay at the Beverly Laurel. The staff were super friendly, the pool was great and our room had loads of space. The cafe next door, "Swingers" did an awesome breakfast and we were close enough to walk to nice bars and restaurants. I would go back for sure.

Loved the staff, so friendly and helpful. Loved the room, the bathroom was huge and it had everything you would need. Comfy, safe. Loved the mid-century vibe. Love having valet parking, saves on stress and always appreciate the safety factor.

The remodeled design is beautiful and the rooms are spacious
The walls were paper thin, you could hear everything in the next room, people slamming doors, and people walking dragging luggage outside by the room. The noise from the air conditioner was so loud and shrill I had to turn it off to fall asleep.

Have stayed before, great location, helpful staff, beautiful pool, comfy beds very close to Farmers Market.
Maybe a few more hooks to hang towels/clothes in bathroom..

Staff where friendly and the common area looked nice.
Booked 5 nights accommodation in the suite as we were flying in from Australia for our Honeymoon.
Room was old, well used and looked nothing like the bright "Updated room" pictures used to advertise.
Couch was dirty, bathroom window was cracked, bedframe was broken on one side with scratchy sheets, towels where stained and grey.
Our room overlooked a construction site which operated jackhammers from 7am-4pm every day.
When I asked if we could change rooms because of this, I was shown another room, that also overlooked the construction site???
Finally was shown a room that didn't overlook the construction site, and its main window was completely shattered.
We ended up staying for 2 hours and decided to call it quits as this started the 5 week holiday on a complete low.
Staff advised we where unable to get a refund as it was booked through a 3rd party, however i believe the advertisement images where false.
We ended up booking the Pali Hotel just down the road for a very similar price which had much quieter and better facilities.

Liked the corner room for first two nights - it was cool - and twin beds worked well after my surgery.
Didn't really like Valet Parking. A one person valet gets overwhelmed during check-in and check-out hours - was expecting self-parking like in the past - either in garage under motel or out back. Inconvenience of valet made us reluctant to go out for dinner at night or to go shopping at Trader Joes - so we walked. But we are older and have some mobility issues. Probably a deal breaker for future stays. Seems prejudiced against local travelers that are driving to your location versus business or fly in customers that use taxi or ride share.

The room was the lovely and unique "Old Hollywood" vibe you just don't get in newer Hotels. Room was very clean. Pool was nice and clean and decorated, not just a generic concrete pool.
Staff, especially daytime staff, were really pushy and annoying about upsells of parking and trying to get us to visit nearby establishments. Maintenance could use a bit of work. Most notably, one of the two doors needed to close off the bedroom from the bathroom was missing, making for an awkward experience. Pool closed at 8pm.

Wonderful
Great location, right on and near other popular Metro routes. Not far from the Beverly Center and The Grove. The room is a great size, great sized bathroom. The Diner downstairs has a huge selection available and great food. All staff I met were very friendly. Initially had an issue with operating the TV but this was fixed quickly.
The water pressure, but that's not the managment's fault. It would have been nice to be able pay for a day use for a late night international flight. The hotel does seem busy all of the time, so this may not be possible.
