We liked almost everything in this hotel . One exception, Kitchen was not stocked very well with some necessary utensils, such as frying pans , large spoons . Also missing salt and pepper in each room , sugar not enough.

The room was excellent both in size and comfort. The bed was great. We had a meal and cocktails in the restaurant which we enjoyed.
The King Size Suite had a kitchen but no utensils to use. The road noise was noticeable.

Construction and room are in the back of the building. There are too many steps to Cary the suite cases. If it was hard to locate your room, even security officers were lost could help.

STAY AWAY! IT'S A TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH. Sadly, the entire stay was miserable and we checked out within minutes of checking in.
STAY AWAY! IT'S A TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH. The lobby looks very luxurious but when you get to the rooms they are dated. They advertise suites, but once you get into the bedroom, you can barely walk around the bed. The spa was broken with yellow caution tape around it. I shared my concern. The staff was rude (from the moment we checked in) and basically said, "Oh well, there's nothing we can do." Not anywhere closer to the level of service you expect at a property that advertises itself like a 4-star hotel. It was so bad that immediately after checking in and seeing the delapitated facilities, we checked out and went to a different hotel. Upon arrival, with no reservation, they inquired about the circumstances. When we explained, they said they get people from this property all the time. They were extremely apologetic, whereas the staff the the Beverly Hills Plaza, NEVER APOLOGIZED. The new establishment gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne and a ton upgrade. And this was not their fault. We were never offered a single concession at the Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 2:48 pm for 3pm check-in. I had to ask for a bottle of water. They flatly said, "Check-in isn't until 3 pm. You can wait over there." We felt we if our presence had no value and they were doing us a favor from the minute we arrived. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE FROM START TO FINISH. Thankfully, we salvaged my birthday weekend by finding a fabulous hotel just minutes away.
