We have stayed more than ten days in Sakura. Room 2002 was substandard. Phone didn't work. TV remote was damaged. Faucet was very loose. No coffee or tea. Room was "dingy".

Locked gate, more modern upgrades. Everything was operable.
A bit higher rated and priced for a motel. Did not have breakfast, or coffee in the lobby. Modern upgrades with edges getting older. Felt the rating and price were high for a basic motel.

Rooms were updated and clean. Price was very good.
Neighborhood is rundown a bit, but we still walked to the nearby Starbucks. When we first pulled up, we were a bit worried that it wasn’t going to be nice, but the rooms were actually very nice.

No coffee. Staff was difficult to understand. This is the third time staying here and I think there has possibly been a change in ownership. I would rethink staying here again

The location is close to family and business. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are large
The condition of the bathroom was awful. I’m not sure the last time the shower was actually cleaned and the staff and the owner need to learn learn that long time customers should be treated better.

Location was great, room was very clean, as was the entire property. Room was also big and very quiet. Night time gate closure makes the property safer. Staff was very nice. The property had an elevator which was nice! Will stay here again and again :)
We booked a room with a fireplace, but when we got there, there was a sign at registration saying not all rooms had fireplaces, ours did not have one.

Google Maps lists this hotel as one of the top-rated in Glendale, and the price is quite reasonable.
I was very dissatisfied with the cleanliness. There were stains on the bed sheets, and I noticed dark marks in the corners of sink and in the bathroom. On the third day, housekeeping forgot to provide a bath mat, and they only gave one bath towel for two people. On the fourth day, they did provide two bath towels, but still forgot the bath mat.

The staff are kind and accommodating to travellers. Parking was great and had enough spots, and a gate at night for added security. Room was quite clean and very comfortable. Microwave, mini fridge, kettle, and hair dryer in the room. There is no coffee/tea provided, just a kettle. No breakfast. But they don’t claim to provide it so it’s perfectly okay, you don’t pay for those extras so it stays affordable. No hidden fees. My stay was wonderful and made LA super enjoyable, thank you!
I think the conditioner provided in my room was also shampoo so there were 2 shampoo pumps. But for a short stay it was alright!

The staff was very helpful and friendly it is close to Glendale Galleria, so near lots of great food and shopping as well as entertainment.

Not fancy at all but nothing looks tired or dented, no smell, comfortable beds and pillows, quiet, super clean, friendly staff, microwave, tea kettle, great value!!! Elevator finally fixed, yea! BTW onsite parking, no hidden fee.
