Check-In took too long and they wanted ID for all the guest, which I think that was odd.. We're not international guests..

I think this is a paradise for business travelers, especially for Japanese guests or anyone who loves Japanese food. While the hotel itself is a bit dated, it is very well maintained and extremely clean. There is also a Japanese supermarket right in front, which is very convenient. For breakfast, you can choose between Japanese and Western options. The Japanese breakfast comes as either grilled mackerel or grilled salmon set — it truly feels like a traditional ryokan-style meal. Honestly, this might be the only hotel in the U.S. where you can enjoy such an authentic Japanese breakfast experience.
