The room was clean and good size. They were very helpful getting us a Lyft to the airport.
The location was sketchy. Lots of creepy people outside. Heard fighting and loud arguments outside our room and in other areas. Toilet paper holder falling off the wall. Food offered in lobby very overpriced.

The staff was friendly, and the building and rooms were clean and well-maintained. It felt safe, and the beds were pretty comfortable. The location was close to Universal Studios. They have a restaurant for a paid breakfast. The bathrooms were a nice size.
Having a microwave in the room would have been nice, along with a fridge that got a little colder. The lobby did have 2 microwaves to use, which was helpful. The location right next to the freeway was a bit noisy at times, especially outside the room, but we honestly didn’t hear much noise once we were inside to bother our sleep or anything. They do not offer complimentary breakfast, which is fine, but at least complimentary coffee would have been a nice service.

Although there was a leak in the room the first night, the staff moved our friends to a better room and a discount was given.
It’s not a beautiful hotel but it’s good value and easy to get to everything.
